Original language description
Following article deals with current model of the service evaluation of professional soldiers in the Army of the Czech Republic and in the Slovak Armed Forces. The emphasis is put on explanation of the methodical procedures of the evolution of military professionals in both countries including the legislative framework. The differences between the approaches towards the evaluated category of soldiers are also included. It also highlights the necessity of the connection of soldiers' evaluation considering their career development. The fields of the service evaluation of professional soldiers of The Army of the Czech Republic are compared and the changes within the service evaluation of professional soldiers of the Slovak Armed Forces are explained. The authors compare the success rate of soldiers of a chosen rank on the basis of the service evaluation results. In accordance with present pieces of knowledge, the concrete possibilities for increasing the objectivity of the service evaluation of the professional soldiers of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic are introduced in the article.
