Original language description
The current energy crisis and the war in Ukraine have significantly affected the economy of the Czech Republic. The threat of the conflict spreading to Central Europe with rising energy prices has a significant impact on the economy of the defense department. For this, it is necessary to adapt the resources management tools in the Ministry of Defense. The author of the article presents information about the students' research activities, dealing with modern management methods, respectively controlling, and its use in resource management in the Ministry of Defense. Using the analysis of the effectiveness of controlling through a questionnaire survey and in cooperation with the controlling department of the Economic section of the MoD, they will prepare a SWOT analysis. The result should be a recommendation of a strategy for the further development of controlling in the Ministry of Defense.
