Utilisation of the non-homogeneous model of a lower limb in experimental wound ballistics

  • Original language description

This article contains results of ballistic simulation of penetration of small calibre projectile through human lower limb. The analysis of reached results is focused on effects of shock waves caused by the penetrating projectile on a simulated blood-vessel system. During the experiments was fired a small calibre projectile into a non-homogeneous model of the part of the lower limb and the primary response of the blood-vessel system to a non complicated injury has been evaluated.
