    Navigation Receiver with a Multisource Acquisition Capability

  • Original language description

    The paper analyses a navigation receiver based on the SDR regarding modern DSP elements and the performance requirements. There are constrains set for a digital signal processing of such systems as VOR and ILS. These systems are the basic ones of the RNAV methods. Than an idea of the SDR based navigation receiver is presented. Such a receiver shall be capable of a processing of several navigation sources in a sequence. Structure of the receiver can include several RF frontends for a different frequencybands and one common processing unit.
