Methodology of preparation of Fire Control Inputs for in service artillery systems
Original language description
The article deals with way of creating the fire control inputs for in-service artillery systems in the Army of the Czech Republic. There is described the methodology for creation of the fire control inputs defined in NATO publication AOP-37 with use of existing ballistic data in the article. The FCI completely describe whole weapon system and can be used in all NATO standardized ballistic products, e.g. fire control system, Tabular Firing tables Tool. The smooth-bore weapon system of calibre of 120 mm is used for verification of the methodology. The correctness of the FCI is examined by comparison of the significant characteristics of projectile trajectories calculated with the use of existing ballistic data and with the use of created FCI.
