  • Original language description

    Former, current and future predictable air threats and corresponding ground based air defence (GBAD) tasks. These tasks are categorised according to the areas where GBAD could be engaged. The main attention is paid to the reconnaissance means for short range air defence (SHORAD). As a result of threat analyze, the recommendation for supplementary radar sensor acquisition is made. Justification is supported by graphics and simple mathematical apparatus. The concrete example is presented on the base of concrete SHORAD system which is on the Czech Air Force armament.
