Digital geographic data have many users from different branches using these data for many tasks. Parameters of used data have important impacts on reliability of military actions and data provider has to inform users about them. The system of metadata build according to the ISO standards is very useful for necessary information transfer, but the system should be added by user point of view and by evaluation of level of data benefit cost. Six user?s functions and five criteria for their evaluation can beused for this evaluation. Mathematical formulas are used for their separate level determination and after that final level of complex function of user value can be evaluated. Result can be compared with expenses (finance, personal, time) necessary for given level of user value achievement.
