Methodology for establishing Operational Maintenance Programme of Vehicles

Original language description

In this paper is shown with one possible approach to the determination of the operational maintenance programme of vehicles. This approach is based on life cycle costs and a method called ?Reliability centred maintenance - RCM?. The objective of this method is to maintain system functions within required safety limits, maintain an inherent level of safety and reliability, optimise availability, and perform these objectives with minimal total life cycle costs. The design of the operational vehicle maintenance programme was based on quantitative, qualitative and economic analyses.
