Reliability Assessment of Items for Mechatronic Systems

  • Original language description

This chapter deals with dependability evaluation of mechatronics systems. The description of modern approaches used when determining reliability measures of mechanic, electrical, and electronic elements of mechatronics system is of great importance here.Basic procedures for dependability parameters estimation using reliability tests and data evaluation on failures in operation are specified in the chapter. Special attention is paid to reliability accelerated tests, a modern tool used for reliability parameters estimation.
