  • Original language description

Integration and interoperability of sensors, weapon systems and Command and Control (C2) systems within Czech Army Forces (CAF) and also within NATO, require unification of theirs information and communication systems. There are efforts today to build communication on unified bases, which will support information integrity, complexity and interaction among cooperating heterogeneous systems. Implementation of recent information technologies (IT) and open standards to Networking and Information Infrastructure (NII) is essential to fulfill such efforts. This article describes advanced building blocks of Unified Adaptive Application Interface (UAAI) for architecture of information systems, which allows interconnection of heterogeneous systems by means of Unified Data Information Base (UDIB) into Unified Network and Information Environment (UNIE).
