The aim of this article "Usage of the ATOM application for knowledge management" is to analyze the Topic Maps and ontology from aspect of knowledge management. For the creation of ontologies is used a tool ATOM (Aion Topic Maps Engine), which is in the paper by simple way shows an explicit description of the problem of knowledge management. The paper also describes the Topic Maps issues according to international standard ISO / IEC 13250 Topic Maps.
