The Impact of Communications on Transport
Original language description
The goal of this paper is identification of main road parameters that affect the transport or cross-country movement modelling. The paper includes the classification of communications focusing on the road categories and their parameters such as road density, quality and their common influence on transport. There are also mentioned road classifications according to MLC categories and weighted evaluation of the road communications significance for movements of military vehicles in the article. Important transportation subjects limiting the cross-country movement of vehicles on communications are also bridges, underpasses, tunnels, etc.
