Perspetive Methods for Analog and Digital Modulation Recognition

  • Original language description

This paper describes perspective methods for the modulation recognition in HF and VHF bands. Automatic modulation recognition is rapidly evolving signal analysis area. In recent years, much interest by academic and military research institutes has focused around the research and development of modulation recognition algorithms. There are two mains reasons for knowing the correct modulation type of a signal: to preserve the signal information content and to decide the suitable counter action such as jamming. This paper describes the using of orthogonal transforms for the analog and digital modulation recognition.
