Life cycle cost analysis is a process of the economic analysis and the assessment of total costs on an acquisition, an ownership and a liquidation of a product. It is possible to apply it throughout the whole product life cycle or just in certain stagesor in combinations of the different life cycle stages. The basic aim of the life cycle cost analysis is to provide input data for decisions made in any stage or in all stages of the product life cycle.
