Original language description
One of the most important vehicle safety components are the brakes. The brake fluid quality is also important for the brake system operation because that reliable performance of brakes is significantly influenced by brake fluid quality properties which further influence the safety of a vehicle crew and other traffic participants. Four samples of brake fluid were prepared in the lab. The results have been showed that the brake fluid viscosities vary not only with temperature (this fact has been known), but also with the change of water content (this fact has not been known).
