SIMULATION TECHNOLOGY AS THE APPROPRIATE TOOL FOR AIR TRAFFIC FLOW CAPACITY SOLUTIONS.
Original language description
For air traffic controllers' training, the Air Traffic Control Simulators are being commonly used worldwide. However, this kind of simulation environment can be, in modern information technology age, oriented also towards other tasks. One of them is an investigation of possible solutions of military air traffic flow capacity. Mathematical and theoretical capacity models and simulation tools used inside civil aviation are not always suitable for military air traffic. This brings us to the following conclusion: inside military aviation area should be given much more space for experiments by means of information technologies. Our work was focused on the Czech Air Force Base Čáslav, working with the simulation environment CASS G4. The main outcome of thisarticle is a proposal for possible simulation tools to cover specific area of the capacity and human factor evaluation for the air traffic flow.
