  • Original language description

    The paper analyses the mechanical stresses on bottom combustion chamber of solid propellant rocket motor. The stress analysis is focused on discontinuity stresses at juncture of cylindrical part of combustion chambre and thorispherical end. Combustion chamber is modelled like a thin-walled construction of type axis symmetrical shell. There is analysed torispherical shape of the combustion chamber bottom. Theoretical analysis includes analytical and numerical solution of the problem. Analytical solutionutilises a force method of the combustion chamber parts edge load solution. Numerical solution is performed by finite elements method. Results of both the solutions have been proved experimentally with the help resistance strain gauge mehod.
