Original language description
During the simulation of the combat operations of air forces separate simulations are solved among particular models during the action of two sides. By the term ?two sides? we mean enemy air forces against ground based air defence or air situation surveillance system and system of air enemy actions. In real situations - during the combat operation of air forces - all these systems are mutually interlined with internal relationships or within the scope of systems of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence (C4I). The paper deals with ways and means of creating ground based air defence system model - radar system model. When we are creating the model of the radar, it is necessary to pay attention to many aspects. This paper highlights the importance of atmosphere in radar sensor modelling because it can influence very much the range of radar.
