OFDM Communication System Optimization Based on Adaptive Loading
Original language description
OFDM systems have entered into a massive expansion in various communication applications in recent years. The reason of that lies in features they provide such as high data rates and robustness in the presence of frequency selective channels. The articledeals with one of the optimization techniques for OFDM systems ? dynamic loading of parallel channels. The article analyses implementation possibility of dynamic loading based on the Chow?s MA algorithm in frequency selective and slowly varying channels. There are chosen standardized ITU, JTC and COST 207 channel models which are suitable for an OFDM communication system of a small UAV platform. The article investigates a possibility of a practical implementation of such loading optimization techniquebased on a reverse link from a receiver to a transmitter providing channel state information.
