An Evaluation of methods of optimization of movement routes according to tactical aspects of the combat operations planning
Original language description
The article discusses how to optimize routes to move vehicles in the field. The route optimization can be viewed from different perspectives, such as the influence of geographical factors on the cross-country movement, the required distance of a route, time limit, the security of military force and last but not least, economic aspects of the transfer security. Using mathematical models movement routes were optimized for the characteristic types of a terrain. The input data of the models were obtained bya cartometric investigation and the results are therefore based on the real situation.
