The information presented in this article describes an effort focussed on current and future requirements associated with ground vehicle mobility, evaluates in brief current modelling methods, develops mobility models, and provides a mechanism for its maintaining. Having completed the evaluation of the current state of ground vehicle mobility modelling (MM) technologies and having determined the requirements of mobility modelling, decisions were made with regard to the consolidation and/or development of specific tools to be included in mobility modelling.
