Original language description
The basic sort of fuel of diesel engines is diesel fuel. The values of diesel fuel qualitative parameters and methods of their valuation are strictly defined by norm EN 590. Signal that everything is not right in this area are results of fuel quality inspection which accomplish Czech business inspection. During these researches, several samples of diesel fuel of different age and several diesel fuel samples were evaluated. According to results, the modern methods FTIR is a suitable for service evaluation of diesel fuel qualitative character.
