  • Original language description

    A brief assessment of the effectiveness of use of smart artillery ammunition in expected military conflicts is made in the article. The effectiveness of smart artillery ammunition use is related to the effectiveness of conventional (?dumb?) artillery bombs use. In the assessment were taken into account both fighting abilities of ammunition, and economic demands and requirements of military tactics and logistics. The article also contains short overview of present smart artillery ammunition.
