Original language description
This paper describes the theoretical and practical aspects of measuring the shielding efficiency of construction composite materials in open spaces. These materials are used as construction materials for aircraft and are most often a multilayer epoxy orpolyester resin reinforced with carbon fibre (carbon fibre reinforced composites, CFRC). Modern composite materials have a lot of applications, mainly in civilian and military technologies. The measuring of basic electrical characteristics of composite materials in the microwave region is very difficult due to the inhomogeneous multi-layered complex structure. One method of determining the shielding efficiency of the composite material is by testing in open space. The measurement for planar sample of CFRC was carried out in a chamber.
