Engineer Aspects of Assymetric Warfare
Original language description
The article approaches certain engineer aspects of tactics, techniques and procedures of assymetric warfare from insurgent?s point of view. The basis any assymetric warfare is the ?balance? of technology superiority against enemy blended in with surroundings. To eliminate this balance each planner should recognize even unintentional characteristics of enemy?s engineer support. Like mobility, counter mobility, survivability. General support is not neglected as well. Insurgents? expediency facilitates them to make use of terrain or social situation. The author worked on NATO international staff at engineer division for three years and systematically observed incidents related to enemy?s beligerents acts. The following chapters will summarize his observations.
