The Utilization of the Videocamera for the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Control
Original language description
The paper deals with problems of the control of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) flight in the phase of the landing by means of the video camera. Theoretical bases which can be used to the resolution of issues of the determination of the UAV relative position towards optical beacon are presented. It is assumed that the beacon is assembled from point sources of the radiation. The spatial arrangement of the beacon and the layout of the radiation sources which are suitable to the UAV landing at the defined place are proposed. Parameters of the beacon image captured by the video camera are used in the mathematical description of the task of the determination of the UAV relative position. Procedure of the image processing convenient to the measurement of the distance between the beacon and the UAV and to the measurement of the angular position the UAV towards beacon is explained. Results of the preliminary laboratory experiment are presented.
