The paper describes the Home LasEr Shooting Simulator (HomeLESS). It is the multi-platform open source laser shooting simulator. Unlike expensive COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) laser shooting simulator this simulator is for free. HomeLESS is affordableeven for homeless. Neither special laser device nor high-speed camera is needed. This solution is using ordinary webcam and ordinary laser pointer. HomeLESS is free software. Anybody can download the source code and improve it oneself. HomeLESS is developed in open source programming language and environment Processing and can be used in both Microsoft Windows and GNU/Linux. HomeLESS is used by several students of University of Defence for indoor shooting practice in their free time. HomeLESS is very useful for them.
