Engagement zone modelling of the air-to-air missiles weapons
Original language description
The engagement zone (EZ) modelling of the air-to-air guided missile weapons was already researched except for wider aspects of its application in the air force command and control process simulators. The paper deals with possible implementation of theoretical EZ and LAR model into information technology environment and of following possibilities of virtual model utilization in command and control simulators. This implementation allows more effective planning of the air force activities as well as more precise and realistic visualization of the air combat (dog fight). The paper also presents a new way of study of the air-to-air missile capabilities which is based on a visualization design describing the EZ by several means from the perspective both of atarget and the fighter.
