Original language description
This article describes how to conduct computer assisted exercises using interconnection of ground forces C2 (command and control) system and the constructive simulation system. This interconnection was realised by analysing proprietary communication protocol and internal database and can be useful for both training of commanders and research activities. In practice - during computer assisted exercises, commanders and stuff can send orders to subordinate units which can be simulated inside synthetic environment and reports based on performed simulation are sent back to C2 system. This arrangement of exercises can save technical costs and human resources needed in field exercises. From the theoretical point of view, the interconnection of the above mentioned systems can help to find optimum working parameters of the C2 system (bandwidth consumption, transmission times and transmission speed) as well as to answer methodological questions such as: Who needs to communicate with whom?
