Another activity within the long-term cooperation between the two universities brought our Hungarian colleagues to Brno to take part in a workshop and inform us about the results of their EU project "Effects of Climate Change on Military Activities". Theworkshop took place in the University of Defence on 21 November 2013 attended by the students and academic staff members of the Department of Military Geography and Meteorology, Department of Population Protection, Department of Combat Support Management and Department of Engineer Technologies. The aforementions project framework covered the following main topics: -related international researches, -medical and psychological effects of extreme weather conditions, -effects of extreme weather conditionson equipment and technology, -testing of military clothing, -military infrastructure and climate change.
