Study on the Hybrid Power Source Concept of Unmanned Aircraft Systems
Original language description
In this paper, power supply unit of unmanned aircraft systems based on the hybrid source for military using will be discussed. As the use of unmanned aircraft systems has developed, so has the more and more power required. The recent trends lead to the use of more autonomous power sources to satisfy the maximum energy yield and trying to concealment it. These unmanned aircraft systems and their power supply units can be considered as comparatively sophisticated system, consisting of combusting engine, electromechanical energy conversion part and power electronics. Actually, power buffer with batteries are request as well. Three aspects will be considered in this paper, namely power electronics converter concept, power density and efficiency. Because switching of power electronics is a source of EMI, therefore, in this paper the attention is briefly focused also on electromagnetic interface.
