The article deals with the use of ultrasound for diagnostics of discontinuities resulting from contact explosion. The fibre reinforced concrete (FRC) was tested in the search for new materials usable for protective structures. The FRC was chosen for itsexcellent mechanical-physical properties. The article describes the differences between the FRC and the plain concrete.
