  • Original language description

    Plasma nitriding technology is final process, which influence on changes texture and quality of the surface. The paper concentrates on changes selected parameters of the surface roughness after plasma nitriding process with different ratios of the gases3H2:1N2 and 1H2:3N2. The experiment were performed on 34CrAl6 (CSN 41 4340) steel. Subsequently the samples were measured on polished and grinded surfaces after plasma nitriding. The measuring was carried on Talysurf 1000CLI by absolute inductive gauge.Talymap was used for evaluate the profile and surface roughness. The results demonstrate the changes parameters (Ra, Rz, Rda, Rdq, Rk) texture of the surface with different ratios of the gases and different nitriding duration (5, 10, 20 hours).
