Original language description
This report describes the measurement of total pressure distortion of the TJ100 engine inlet and its influence on engine operation. The pressure distortion was generated by a distortion screen of given geometry (see Appendix A). Measurement was performed at different engine speeds. Measured pressure distributions at the aerodynamic interface plane (AIP) and respective engine parameters as well as engine compressor maps with and without the distortion screen are presented.
