Original language description
This article deals with the possibilities of trends in the maintenance of combat and special-purpose vehicles in Army Czech Republic. At present the system of preventive maintenance in the civil sector focuses on maintenance by technical condition. Suchnew system has been introduced in developed NATO armies too. The aim of the article is to show the possibilities of performing the preventive maintenance in a military environment. This enables us to purchase new technical equipment. If we are to performa condition based preventive maintenance, a vehicle has to be equipped with an on-board diagnostic system OBD-II and modern diagnostic instrumentation for individual types of technical equipment. Along with the technical aspects we should not forget about technical personnel training and interconnecting data within the logistics information system.
