The aim of this presentation is an introduction professionals with works on NATO standardization agreement (STANAG) NATO GVA. This STANAG is to enable the member nations to realize the benefits of an open architecture approach to Land vehicle platform design and integration, especially in regard to the vehicle platform electronic data and power infrastructure and the associated safety and verification & validation process. The STANAG is to be applied to all future land vehicle platforms and vehicle platform sub-system, as well as current vehicle platform refurbishment and upgrade programmes. Last part of presentation is about current research findings from the University of Defence Brno where was opened the Vetronics Laboratory. The laboratory is intended for international research as well as specialist training in the field of electric and electronic systems of military vehicles. The vetronics laboratory will be used to simulate and test the requirements and capabilities regarding control, coordination, and information exchange of complex vetronics systems on wheels or tracks.
