Modelling and Simulation of Mechanical Gearbox Vibrations
Original language description
This article focuses on making a virtual model of a mechanical gearbox placed in a medium-sized terrain vehicle in the MSC Adams environment. The aim is to use the virtual model for simulating a vibration signal at different operation revolutions. Based on the virtual model we try to find characteristics and dependencies of the vibration signals on the gearbox design. The article also includes the basic theory of modelling and analysing a frequency spectrum. For the simulation of vibration signals we used MSC Adams software which is the most known tool used to simulate mechanical gearbox vibrations, obtain and finally analyse vibration signals. At present using different software products for modelling in a technical area is spread worldwide. Owing to the modelling a great deal of finances are saved not only during the design phase, but also during the identification of diagnostic signals and their influence on the technical state of machine pars. The purpose is to make a proactive system.
