Original language description
Presented paper deals with an issue of possibilities of a numerical and experimental research of a ballistic protection of vehicles. An effect of a temperature on a notch toughness of passive armor is based on a simplified model. Results confirm a hypothesis that notch toughness increases with a rising temperature. Results of numerical simulations, shooting tests and a standard notch toughness test are compared in the paper.
