Original language description
A mathematical models improvement of an internal ballistic process without possibilities of experiment in a closed vessel is still difficult. It is valid mainly in case of propulsive charges using surfaced smokeless powder grains. However, a substitution of the geometric concept of the propulsive powder charge burning law by a “real burning law” is possible now. Standard STANAG 4115 already requires an assessment of a function so called “powder dynamic vivacity” in a set of powder characteristics. The article demonstrates the method of using this characteristic in substitution of the geometric burning law for chosen powder.
