Workload - New Possibilities for the ATC Simulation Environment
Original language description
Aside of main stream of usage of Air Traffic Control (ATC) simulation technology, focusing on training and education of both new and existing staff, there is another possibility, how these technology devices could be operated effectively for a new domain. One of such area is contemporary experimented inside the Air Force and Aircraft Technology Department of Faculty of Military Technology. Continuing by the experimentation with the CASS (Connective Autonomous Surveillance System), the area of new research activities covers pre-selection phase of ATC training with the usage of Workload SW features. The main outcome of this article is focusing on CASS simulation environment, which could be used as a one of the possible technology tool to define the individual ability of ATC personnel in relation with ATC workload system methodology.
