    Time Difference Measurement Algorithm for TDOA Positioning System using RTL-SDR

    The paper is focused on radionavigation systems. The subject of the paper is a design, implementation and experimental verification of an algorithm, which is able to determine time differences between the arrivals of signals from multiple transmitters. The algorithm is a fundamental element for the implementation of the system for position determination using Time Difference Of Arrival (TDOA) method. The implementation is realized in MATLAB environment. The proposed system is intended for position determination on a board of small Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), thus the experimental verification was performed using low-cost software defined receiver RTL-SDR.
