The paper deals with protection features of modern infantry fighting vehicles. Ballistic protection is introduced as the basic protection element, and its level is from 4 to 5 by STANAG 4569 standard at current IFV. Outside of this protection type, they have been used active protection features with large range of sensory equipment. Combination of these types of protection creates a complexive vehicle protection against a large scale of ammunition.
