Original language description
An analysis of the process of optical light propagation by two polarization planes shows the theoretical possibility of using the two polarization planes separately. The article deals with problems of polarized light, its mathematical description using the Stokes and Jones vectors, the depiction of polarization state on the Poincaré sphere, and the polarization multiplex. In the practical part, the experimental facility for laboratory measurements verifying the theoretical assumptions is described first and subsequently it is proved that the polarization multiplex is feasible on common single-mode fibers. The site was assembled for a wavelength of 1550 nm for different fiber lengths, including a 2000 m path. The measured results are finally evaluated.
