Multifunctional footwalk for TMS, MS and MMS
Original language description
The paper presents conceptual design of the multifunctional footwalk to temporary bridge such as TMS (heavy bridge set), MS (bridge set) and MMS (modernized bridge set). Multifunctionality means possibility of using footwalk to a selected temporary bridge. Due to the different constructional arrangements of the selected temporary bridges, the design of the footwalk beam is a key step. The footwalk bearer is the main carrying element directly connected to the selected temporary bridge. The proposal design is based primarily on an analysis of the deficiencies present footwalks used on selected bridges. The design concept is built to meet current standards and requirements for usability in a civilian environment.
