    Experimental and numerical assessment of fibre reinforced concrete slab under blast load

  • Original language description

    This paper deals with experimental assessment of the fibre reinforced concrete slab under blast load and the parameters of the concrete material model used for numerical simulations of high strain rates. One model was selected on which a finite element modelling was presented and which parameters was identified based on experimental measurements. First part of the paper describes an experiment to obtain the necessary data in the form of a time-deflection curve of the fibre reinforced concrete slab by means of the laser triangulation method. This data will be used as a reference for identification of the parameters in the next phase using a theoretical approach in the form of numerical simulations. Creating a computational model of an experiment in the LS-Dyna software environment using a selected non-linear material model is the subject of a second phase. In this part of the paper a try an error approach for obtaining similar behaviour to the experimental measurement of an explosion loaded fibre reinforced slab is presented. The dependence of the change of output parameters in the form of deflection is studied to the change of the values of the input parameters, such as the strength of the concrete and fracture energy.
