The article deals with the topic of energy savings that is already widely recognised both in the public and private sector. Also in the military, the crucial questions of the reduction of energy usage and the importance of energy efficiency were acknowledged, and several energy saving measures are currently applied not only during the exercises but also in the operations. The paper focuses on the passive and active measures to reduce the cost of operation and maintenance in the military camps.
