  • Original language description

    Satellite digital broadcast systems are used for high rate data communication in the Ku-band, but the attenuation induced by the atmospheric conditions is a significant propagation impairment at this band. This paper discusses results of an expert test in anechoic chamber simulated satellite broadcasting stream under rainy conditions in the controlled-laboratory environment and results of an expert test under real atmospheric conditions for the real satellite channel.
