Original language description
This paper is focused to protection of areas of critical infrastructure against intentional attacks conducted through terrain and roads. The objects of critical infrastructure are essential for the functioning of a society and economy and that is why it is crucial to protect them. The general process of security study is described with focus on link between relevant threats, vulnerability of protected areas and possible risks covered by designed measures. This paper reflects one of the key areas of protection and that is perimeter protection. An important element for increasing the effectiveness of perimeter protection are measures related to landscaping on the outside of the perimeter as well as the measures increasing the arrival on the roads, which are described below.
