    Innovative processes in preparing models and measuring them in the wind tunnel

  • Original language description

    The paper presents the use of wing models with winglets produced by the 3D printing method for aerodynamic measurements to validate simulation analyses of newly designed winglets. The article describes the CFD analysis process, the model manufacturing process on the 3D printer Prusa i3 Mk3 and aerodynamic measurements on the models in the wind tunnel. The results show a partial match between simulation and experimental results and feasibility of 3D printed models for aerodynamic measurements. The article gives recommendations for further measurements.
