Analysis of UAV Control Signals
Original language description
This article discusses the possibility of taking control or jamming a commercial drone. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is capable of flying unmanned and is increasingly used. Given their affordability, they can become a major threat. In order to take control of the drone, it is necessary to capture the control signal of the drone, analyze it and send back a signal stronger than the signal from the controller. In order for this idea to be realizable, it is necessary to create a database of control signals. This and our previous work can be used to create such a database. The IZ225 digital receiver and SPECON, AKRS-RT and CipherCAD softwares were used at the radio signal analysis and monitoring workplace to capture and analyze the signals we measured. In the article we describe the procedure how to get the necessary information about the control signal of the drone.
